Maverik is born and raised in the Comox Valley. He is a product of the Comox Valley Minor Hockey Association and has competed in both the association Rep divisions as well as the North Island T1 Zone program. Maverik has been supported by excellent skills coaches over the past few years. His dedication to continue development was fostered by High Calibre Hockey Academy, Next Level Training, and Elevate Sports, all providing the foundational skills to excel in competitive programs. Maverik has joined several competitive spring programs including HPL Raiders, Pivot Hockey, High Calibre Knights, Elevate Sports Performance and AOA Hockey. He was invited to compete in the Cheam Valley Invitational tournament showcasing some of the top talent in hockey for the past 2 years. Maverik is excited to continue his path of strong hockey development in the competitive league of the JPHL.
